An obvious drop off after the top 5. They separated themselves from the rest of us.

Any way we can get a basketball breakdown as it stood prior to the start of this season? I'd be curious to see how the teams fall into place after Memphis and UAB...

This just goes to show that expansion has little to do with On the field performance.

If Tulsa beats us on satruday... there is no doubt that they were the class of CUSA during this period. JMO.

So I took OPs updated data, and used the USA TODAY Sports' College Athletics Finances to give me the revenue in 2011. Then I figured the amount of revenue made, per win.

Private schools don't submit this data.

Not too many surprises. Of course, even with this atrocious year, USM still is getting the best bang for their buck. Memphis focus is clearly on bball and not fball.

All teams (minus Memphis/USM) are within one or two places in all three columns.

Memphis basketball had .831 from the 2005-06 season through the 2011-12 season.
