He's surely eligible if he wants it, and having him back would be huge.

I may have missed a player somewhere.

I can't remember if we had 16 players on Senior Day or not.

Good of you to post a sentiment of gratitude to the team's seniors. They echo that of many who frequent here.

RE: Thank you, seniors!
You beat me to this thread, dragon.
I just got back from orlando this afternoon.

Thanks to all the seniors. For sure. I was completely broken hearted for those yesterday.
But not just them.
Seeing the team after the game yesterday before they got on the bus was...emotional, to say the least.

Ya know, there are some great guys on this team.
Guys that embody what it means to be a UAB Blazer.

Marvin- I watched him being carried to the bus, one arm around a trainer, another around one of his fellow players. Tears in his and limping with help from his comrades like the FN SOLDIER he is.

Sam- surrounded by the majority of the blazer fans that we there yesterday, his family. Clearly disappointed but smiling his famous smile.

Ty- the future and present of this program. A FN WARRIOR. Every game that I have talks to him after he said told me how much he appreciated the fan support of the team and they WILL BE BETTER.

Jackie- another FN WARRIOR. So humble. So polite and friendly. So thankful for the support.

D Reaves- see above. Ditto.

Brian Autry, Connor Boyett, Deric Scott and on and on. The bios go on. There are so many guys like this on our team.
We may not be a good football team and this year didn't go the way any of us wanted. Not the seniors, the coaches, the players, the fans, anyone.

This program may not have produced many wins but it has produced some great young men.

I'll take that for now. That is so much more than wins in bigger scheme of things. The wins will come. All the great guys past, present and future are what let me know that better things are ahead. Things don't overnight. But these guys and the ones who follow, will keep pounding the rock.

I left the stadium yesterday, heartbroken but optimistic. For now, this season is over. Time for everyone to learn from it and move onward and upward.

I left proud to be a Blazer and dying for that first game of next year.

GO BLAZERS!
