Just wondering how competitive SBC volleyball is. TXST has traditionally been very good but were in a big rebuilding year this year. Worst record since 2006. They made the WAC tournament but had a losing record for the first time in 7 years.
Very young team with some good commits so, looking forward to next year.

I imagine, though, it will take a few years to get back on top because of the "move up"

It's seems that volleyball has improved in the Sun Belt but WKU has been good for 3-5 years straight and being ranked much of that time.

Middle has led the way, with WKU right behind, FIU was pretty strong as well, Texas State should replace them nicely.

In nine seasons Peck has six tournament appearances(including a sweet sixteen appearance), four sbc tourny titles and two regular season titles.

Volleyball is king in Middle and Western. ASU and UNT generally control the much weaker West Division, with UALR sneaking in some years. Texas State and UTA will get a break playing in the weaker division.
