when I make this statment, but I think we've sort of turned a corner. It looks as if we've found a point guard in Gillon, a terrific three in Isler, a strong player in the paint in White, to go with Will and Javes.

Plus we have some pretty solid players in Taggart, Dillard and others.
Granted, we'll have our ups and downs, but after last night's game, I saw a lot of promise, and a lot of depth. I still like Osse to come along and contribute. As well as Stetson. This could be a very good SBC team. Maybe Steve's best, and will get better next year.

It may take a year to tell, but I think Steve may have the most talent on the roster that he has had.

I agree that Isler played good defense, but so did the others. It surprised me that the Trojans played defense so hard. WMU had averaged 74 pts per game but scored 43 against the Trojans. It appears Shields may have the debth he needs so that if the guys want PT they know they will have to bust their tails playing defense. Isler reminds me of Patterson who came here from Ole Miss. Hope Isler makes the same contribution as Patterson did.

Wouldn't that be something. Patterson was one of the more versatile players we have had. He did a lot of things well.
