So there is some promo going on statewide at BK about if LSU wins you get something for free.. Hell. I am not sure what its about, but apparently it started yesterday.
The BK on campus put the advertisment up on their marquee'..the students came unglued, dont know all the details.
BK finally called corporate and was allowed to take the sign down.
I am proud of my university, definitely proud of the students.

The rest of you mucks that read this board in Monroe, Ruston, lake Chuck, etc.. have some balls and do the same.

Great for them...wish ULM would do the same, since there is one right across from campus

Glad you were able to do that but you had something going for you....the BK was on campus. I would hope that if there was one doing it on the other campuses that the same thing would happen (not sure which schools may have a BK on campus).

Now that was a manager who had his head up his posterior win he did that....shouldn't have taken ULL students to go crazy...he should have been on the phone saying he wasn't going to do it. Good on you though.....screw LSU.

A couple of years ago, a San Marcos-based cable company setup this billboard a couple of blocks from campus. All Hell broke loose and Grande apologized for it.
Stuff like this is uncalled for.

Burger King likes to pretend they serve food.

It's cute.

They took the sign down in Ruston weeks ago after people complained.

Actually, it was across the street from campus, not on university property. The sign about the promotion was just posted locally on their sign in the last week.

Do you remember when we were in the playoffs in 2005 and UT was on the NC running season? The Joes Crab Shack next to campus and maybe on campus property put up a good luck Longhorns or congrats Longhorns message up on thier marquee. It was taken down quickly after complaints.

That's awesome, there's a lot more pride in the school and the team these days then when I first started at Middle, but I'm not sure we have a strong enough core group of hardcore student fans that would lead that kind of charge against an insult like that if we had a UTK promotion on our campus. I know that when I was a student I would have complained mightily, but would have been in the minority.

I think Louisiana does have the advantage of having a smaller(than MT) student body and having been playing FBS ball from the start, but I tip my hat to your student body regardless. I look forward to the day that our entire student body will have only known MT as a FBS program and when more and more students will have grown up going to Middle games. I myself am not a born and bred Blue Raider, but I have a lot of friends with kids that are raising them the wearing blue and if I ever meet a woman foolish enough to want to procreate with me, you better believe they'll be blue raiders as well.

I buy my burgers from SONIC which has the Ragin' Cajun burgers with the seal on top!!!

Well, KATC posted it on their Facebook and bandwagon LSU A&M College @ Baton Rouge fans came out of the wood works calling UL, it's students, alum, and fans every name in the book. I do not understand what they don't get.
