You probably missed my edit so here is the additional sentence I added:

"If there is a post that someone feels is over-critical or irrational, they should respond with rational rebuttal. The responses shouldn't attack the poster's intentions."

What you are talking about is exactly what makes a good community. Points and counterpoints. If I make a post that says "Tonight seemed to be a failure by Josh to motivate the players because x, y, and z" responses like "I think X and Y are more a product of hesistant play, because..." are appropriate. However, that isn't what these posters I am discussing do. Their responses will be along the lines of "LOL! Fire Josh! Sky is falling! Let's just quit! I love the Tigers and support them until the end!". You cannot debate this type of poster, because no matter what facts or game situations you provide to flesh out your point they will respond in the same manner.

Than don't attempt to debate them. After enough time here I think I have some feel for who are the half-wits on the board. I'd list them but it'd result in a mod warning - I'm sure.

Go ahead and list them, I'll start....

Jedi
Stammers

we've never been banned before. Not one time.

Now you on the other hand...................

I've never been banned.

How could I be here if I was banned?

This has been an interesting debate. From personal experience I stopped posting as much because of posters like Jedi and stammers and Bartlett something. If I posted something positive I was ignored for the most part. If I posted a contrarian opinion I suddenly became a 'troll'.

If this boards goal is to only accept certain viewpoints and discuss then it will ultimately weed everyone out. Except Jedi stammers and Bartlett. Then they will eat their own.

No anger. No victims. Not looking for someone to feel sorry for me.

Why do you think your king of the message board? Does that make you feel confident? Does posting the same stuff in every thread give you happiness?

I hope so, Jedi.

He comes on here to express that he has been dissuaded from posting because of the witch hunt. I don't know if he's a troll or not, but your responses are in poor taste.

"Cry like a baby", "no one here feels sorry for you", "inferiority complex"

You aren't trolling, but your tone is unnecessarily harsh and attacking.

So was his unnecessary and unproved personal attack of me.

He just popped in out of the blue and started crying about me personally. Until that moment , I had forgot he even ever existed. Clearly I've been on his mind a LONG time.

So I stand behind everything I posted.

You were cited as an example in another persons post of the positive crowd being anti productive on this board. I shared my own experience. Deal with it.

By crying about arguments we have over a year ago? I remember your insulting and trolling posts towards me quite well now.

You'll live either way.

I'm really not concerned about it now. I responded with what I think was warranted.

You need to move on because I am.

You make a habit of it. Agree to disagree then take a parting shot, not a very good debating style either, but it is what it is.

It gets funnier. Or sadder. Jedi has been pm'ing me thinking I'm bandwagon guy, which I'm not.

And then he threatened to fight me!?! Really.

So he does this publicly and privately and is given free reign to do so. Odd.

Btw Jedi. I'll meet you. Take that conversation public tough guy.
