I love this quote. "Winning a game 9 months ago has me so fired up for this game in August against a totally different team! Football!"

You are truly showing your lack of understanding about the subject.

Three games in a row giddy?

Is your question "is 4 wins better than three wins"?

Young Fish, if you would've played in high school, you'd know exactly what he's talking about.

Yep, I feel the same way. Can't wait for Saturday.....GO TIGERS

No. not better, bigger.

Or in the David Letterman world, "Is this anything?"

Heck this team could have legitimately won 6 games this year...maybe more.

They have improved...period.

If this was an attempt at dry humor...well played...but doubtful.

There actually will be a lot more excitement come our first game next year than there would have been if the team was sitting at 1-10 and there will be even more if our kids finish at 4-8.

Hell, if our basketball team makes a run to the Final Four, there will be more excitement for our first football game next year.

University success matters.

Not when you go to a different university and only care about the basketball program of the one back home, because daddy expects you to.

RE: Is 3 wins in football this year big?
My expectations this year were for 2 wins being acceptable, 3 wins signalling a successful season, 4 wins being really good and 5 or more wins being amazing. My expectations for next year go from 4 up with the same level of success assigned to each.

If the new administration at the AOB really is changing things, you will see record season ticket sales for 2013. The football iron is hot - now is the time to press.

Sweet. Can't wait to have the schedule so I can start planning a trip back for the home opener.

IMO... the goal for 2013 season ticket sales should be a minimum of 22K to 24K.

Hell, why minimize. Set that sucker at 25,000 (hope for more). Time for Bowen to get people in the AOB off their dead @sses and lets get this thing rolling. Successful football = future success for our overall athletic program.......GO TIGERS
