They still need 80% of the B1G presidents vote, and to officially apply, but that is all probably a formality at this point.

Rutgers already has their bags packed.... they gave Maryland a reach around to get them to take them

Rutgers would be the biggest winner in Big East history in my opinion.

They kept getting left behind in every ACC raid and now may end up in by far the best conference any Big East school could have landed.

If it ends up being true, congrats to all the Rutgers fans and welcome to the B1G Ten!

Kansas is probably wishing they hadn't signed that GOR.

The ACC is probably crapping up their backs at this point. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Big Ten Network is airing the conference. Maryland doesn't vote unless they know they have a landing spot.

Yep. I think you're right.

On the bright side, KU and the rest of the Longhorn XII can sit tight for a long while with the comfort of knowing they have the $$$ and the access.

Why? They still have pick of the litter. LVille is stronger overall as a program and there are big markets for the taking, too.

The ACC is pretty snooty about academics (which isn't a bad thing). I don't see them taking Louisville. Louisville's only options are Big XII and BE.

The pants crappage in the ACC will not happen until you hear of conversations between the SEC, UNC and Virginia. I almost think that has to happen now.

Unless you're really good at covering up for academic fraud.
