RE: Auburn fans are not so sold on Barbee anymore
Culpepper averaged 17 points and 2 assists per game under Barbee
Character averaged 14 points per game under Barbee

The following year, Culpeppers stats dropped to 14 points per game and 1 assist.

That same year, Moultree averaged 12 points per game.

So you only really lost 2 points per game production from Character if Floyd had kept Multree who by the way was a 1st round draft pick in the NBA.

Floyd also changed Culpepper's game and the entire team under achieved under Floyd.

Tim Floyd did not run off Moultrie to Miss. State... Moultrie ran on his own accord. He wanted to bail after his first year, and was talked into staying. Moultrie made the decision, and blamed Floyd and the coaching change....this is the story from the other players on that team.

Furthermore, you talk about preference in relation to offensive and defensive coaching/teams. Personal preference is subjective. What also is subjective is statistics and their overall value in judging the worth of a player.

Give it up Fit. You have been called out numerous times now. Give in to the temptation and move on to the PAC12 board. They are eagerly awaiting your arrival. Ciao!

Defense and Offensive IS subjective. My assertion is that Floyd's insistence on defense is one of the reasons Culpepper and the entire team under achieved.

Statistics are not subjective. They are facts. The facts are that the Miners only lose 2 points per game from Character to Multree.

As for Multree's departure. I happen to know that Floyd interviewed every player individually and asked them what their goals were at UTEP.

According to a reliable source, Moultree responded that his goal was to be a 1st round draft pick in the NBA. It was at that time that Floyd told him that he needed to find another team because he only wanted players whose #1 goal was to make the team better.

Yes. Someone that I work with knew Moultree in college. According to my co worker, Moultree and Floyd did not see eye to eye because Floyd determined that Moultree was selfish and was only thinking about playing in the NBA.

That is a legitimate concern but what kid doesn't dream of playing in the NBA?

If that is how it went down, you can't fault a kid for having those kinds of dreams.

Obviously for Moultree, it wasn't out of the question.

Well, obviously your reliable source is as impeachable as your spelling of the player's name.

Since you were kind enough in your asking, I will reply in kind.

No, I am not dismissing your argument solely because you misspelled a player's name. It was just the cherry on top of the big ol' sh*t sundae of reasoning and logic you have been spouting, all while proclaiming your allegiance as a fan. A pretty little error sitting on top. That's why I dismissed your argument. Nothing more, nothing less.

Fair enough. I want people to disagree with my argument and offer a counter argument.

I look forward to your counter argument.

dante effing multree!!!!

I think you mean Arnette Multree.

I made a mistake and called Randy Culpepper Dante Culpepper.

Common mistake since I'm also a Viking fan.

And yet you're still spelling Arnett Nathaniel Moultrie's name incorrect.

Is this what it is really about?

Are we really going to nit pick about spelling?

I appreciate you being my personal spell checker but is it really necessary?

It doesn't really help your credibility as a 'fan' if you are constantly misspelling the names of players. It makes you seem like a fraud, and in all honestly, it does take away from whatever point you are trying to make.

And no, this is not what it is really about, you just make it too easy by repeating the same mistakes, thread after thread.

Cheers!

Well I must admit that this forum is very different than many others that I am used to.

In other forums, when someone starts nit picking about spelling, it usually means that they have no rebuttal to your argument.

Fair enough. I will try to spell everyone's name perfectly.

Ah, yes. Back to that. If you do this, it usually means this.

Why try and make a point on your own. Let's just come up with these lame absolutes.

Listen up, Miner fans!!!!! We cannot allow you all to continue holding Fitbud hostage here! Holding one against their will is a violation of their Dante Culpepper civil rights.
