Memphis basketball is rolling. You didn't see them go into Charlotte and get their 8th win in a row last night?

I have to admit MB, I usually try not to bandwagon, but I have been caught watching a couple Grizz games this week. Pretty fun team to watch.....

That's how it starts....

Pretty soon, you'll be waving the foam claw, rocking a Z Bo headband, and cussing Blake Griffin.

Speak for yourself dude. The only emotion I'll ever show for any team is reserved for the Tigers only. Just because the Grizz are on a winning streak doesn't make me go overboard for the Grizz or all of a sudden make me a Grizz fan (I just don't like the NBA in general). Hats off to them, hope they win it all. But whether they do or don't is no big deal to me.

Dude....that was a one on one conversation between myself and a person I consider to be a good friend....didn't have a thing to do with a faceless name on a message board like you.

For the record, I have never considered myself to be an NBA fan either (and still don't)....but once you watch an entire game or two and start to see the differences between the NBA and college, it is pretty interesting to follow the ebb and flow a little bit differently. And the talent level is insane. Z-Bo's drop back jumper, normally a no-no for anyone on any level, cannot be blocked and it is amazing how efficient/accurate he is with that shot.

Absolutely. I've been following the Grizzlies from the day they held their first open practice at The Pyramid in 2001. Even bad NBA basketball is far and away such a different game from the college level.....and now that we've got the best team in the league, there's just no comparison between the two games.

Heck, because of the OP, I can't even stay current with missj because he hammers her every time she posts something about her personal activities. I thought we were all adults here and had the freedom to speak our minds as long as we follow the rules.

You're the one talking about hammering MissJ? #1) find the last time I did (you are the best researcher on the interweb right?) #2) Why did you become friends again with her, because you were relentless (sometimes even nasty) in your attacks on her
for years, until she posted something that threatened your personal reputation. You are a freak.

I think I hit a nerve.

What did I say that isn't true?

Missj and I mended fences a long time ago after she saw what Cal really stood for....which was Cal. I don't try to be her internet guardian or moral compass. Missj had a lot of folks praying for my mom after she got sick. I will never forget that.

Good for you guys. What did I say that isn't true? I think you even wiped your screen name and disappeared for a while. People who act "civil" never have to worry about such things as personal attacks outside of the board.

And to think i thought when all the "so-called" bad posters were banned that this forum wouldn't get much action.

Best team? Come on dude. Y'all got the best record, for now, but you don't have the best team till you win a championship. Let's see if the Grizz even make it to the West Finals.

BTW...I ain't bashing the Grizz. They do look scary good , so far. But, the season has barely begun. There is no best team. Just better records. And that can change. Fast. Trust me.
