When is the last time we've beaten a good
ooc team? I see schools every year that upset teams from BCS conferences who seem to be in the same category as we are. mid majors. It tells me that we haven't been able to improve our program to a point where we can occasionally do that. Maybe it will happen this year when our new players gain some experience. That would be nice. I see improvement in a lot of areas. Student fan support. Great facilities. But the men's program just hasn't improved to any great extent. At least not in the wins and losses against OOC competition. I think LRTrojan has made his case pretty well through the years. We don't have enough fans with financial clout who demand more than we're accomplishing. If a program doesn't win at Fayetteville, or most successful athletic programs, they make the necessary changes to correct the situation. We don't seem to want to do that. We just stumble along from one season to the next and remain a little above average. Maybe winning requires a larger financial committment than we can afford to make. But it would be nice to see our program move up to a higher level of accomplishment. A lot of the pieces are in place. We just need to find the last few pieces of the puzzle.04-cheers
