Wisconsin-Milwaukee looking good
Lost in OT to South Carolina, and new coach Frank Martin, in Columbia. Tonight they beat an always tough Davidson team. May not be quite as good as Ole Miss, but probably a better team than LaTech.

That's depressing.

I feel even less optimistic after reading Jeff's comments about UWM. They sound like a very talented and experienced team. They beat us last year, at home, when we had an excellent senior point guard leading the way. We are playing at home, so anything can happen. But, while Ole Miss may well be better than USC, not sure they would beat them, or take them to overtime, in Columbia like UWM did.

I am not optimistic. Still, it is at our place . . .

What's somewhat sad is that beating Wisconsin-Milwaukee would be a really nice win for our program- but local media will give it no more credibility than if we beat Arkansas-Monticello.

The local media does not really follow college basketball, so how would they know. Tell me one local media guy other than maybe Ray Tucker who knows much about mid-level teams.

You definitely stumped me on that one.
