Just stated on CBS 42" on offense, defense, everything we SUCK, no nothing , guys in locker room at half saying to wake up, really?"

I agree, I was disappointed also. But like the fire McGee has.

McGee has predetermined that he is correct & is reluctant to prove otherwise.

As I was leaving the game another fan was explaining to me how Perry doesn't understand the offense and that is why he isn't playing. So UAB is stuck.

That is the question on my mind, Blazer frère. It's obvious Mempiss keyed in on the running game and wanted to take that away from us. Perry could've provided a spark.

That's funny. The last time I saw Perry, he was almost perfect throwing it, if the receivers would have caught the balls that hit them in the hands.

So we don't have a backup QB?

I have to believe Perry would have led us to more than 9 points.

maybe this lost will be better for the coach but he seem not very frustrated about the game
just a reminder that we were not playing not ohio state or lsu
I can understand a close lost but a blow out ,,,it is simply ridiculous

agree with you and that his is major weakness
He was too confident since the beginning on his career as a head coach and he is still very confident despite getting destroyed by one of the worst team in football

unlike Memphis' defense, which knows our offense better than anybody on our side of the field.

Sure. Perfect throwing it on a few of the select plays he has proven he can run. He wants the team to learn and grow so we come into Spring at least knowing the systems. No matter the score, you don't reward the backup who requires you to use just a third of your playbook because he can't manage the effort to learn the playbook and can't reliably make the necessary throws on half the plays he does know.

It bears repeating. Austin Brown didn't give up 47 points.

But even if the defense had only given up 10... losers we would still be.

Thing I'm seeing about AB is that he still has got gimpy foot so can't scramble & teams know it. He holds the ball way too long so is unable to scramble out leading to a sack. While JP might not know the whole offense at least his mobility & what he does know might've helped to give some spark.

Sometimes you've just got to take a bite of the **** sandwich & swallow your pride.

I thought he should have played JP. AB's mobility is limited and everyone knows it. He cant get a good push on his deep throws. I wonder if the reason for not playing JP is that JP dosnt know the play book or if hes made it known hes gonna transfer.

That would also be true if we'd scored 40.

This disaster of a game was a total team effort.

I don't think anyone is blaming the loss on AB. (My opinion) I do think everyone is questioning the HC on why he does not make an obvious change in quarterback. Had we made the change at Tulane I still think we win the two we did and maybe even pulled out Tulane. I was all for giving AB the chance but sometimes sitting the pine and watching and learning does a world of good. For someone who does not know the offense (The rumor) he sure looks pretty good when he gets on the field.

Garrick Mcgee needs to learn that pride is not hard to swallow once you have chewed it long enough.

Is the object to use all of your playbook and lose, or 1/3 of your playbook and win?

Austin Brown was the starting QB in all three of our wins this year.
