RE: W&M in Game
Defense got 3 turnovers and gave up 3 points in second half.

First half, they had a corner get beat and then a double move, which was an excellent play call/execution.

Our defense played much better. Not great but an improvement.

By the angle he was coming from, Johnson couldn't have been able to tell which receiver it was going to, so he hit his guy. BS.

Actually, you guys had 3 unsportsmanlike conduct calls. That said, I only saw one that I thought was bad. I thought the officiating was pretty solid consider how woeful it's been all season.

Perfect weather, excellent food, terrific venue, fun game, great fans, and SF and I had a wonderful time with Smitty and his family/friends. I wouldn't change anything except the outcome. We covered so I'm going to use the $450 (for entertainment purposes only) to buy W&M some tackling.

Good luck in the playoffs and CUSA...beat ECU!

Had another great time with ODU fans at Foreman. Smitty is a great host, but we did discover the reason for any success in his life, as his family and friends covered his late arrival beautifully. I had met his brilliant, and studious son in Statesboro last year, and had the pleasure of meeting his wife Saturday. A beautiful, and stoic woman who clearly shepherds him through the complexities of life. This guy outkicked his coverage big time!

Hoping to make another playoff game for the Monarchs this year. CAA fans have a history of supporting conference mates in the playoffs, and I'll be there if I can. The football rivalry is done for now, so Go Monarchs!

RE: W&M in Game
Tribe4SF is solid.

After we got burnt worst than William T Sherman's march thru Georgia, we seemed to settle down and improve our defense. WM has got to be the best two win team in the country, they been in every game. I really don't understand why Laycock doesn't hang out around the soccer field and find a good kicker. It's a real momentum killer, to drive the field and go for a FG and miss. Their third string QB is a capable backup, who made some nice deep plays in the 1st half. Surprised they didn't go long more in the 2nd half.

I'm really liking Tyree becoming our featured running back, the last 3 games he has averaged 141yds.

RE: W&M in Game
It was a little frustrating to see W&M hit someone late on the final kickoff. Then the next play (or 2nd) I didn't see what happened, but we got a personal foul. (I think on Morant?) Be consistent.

Number 83 ate us for lunch. Great game by that kid after appearing to be hurt. The QB played well at times (1 excellent throw), another long td on a wide open guy. Some of the other throws though, no one knows where he was throwing the ball.

I thought our D-Line was excellent. They really didn't get a ton of holes to run through. GUinn-Bailey/Saylor have really stepped up. We got a little bit of pressure on the QB, but it's still not adequate. Secondary was bad as usual. (i'm looking at Cowart) The 1st TD was an excellent pass, the 2nd one was just a double move that we bit on and the safety jumped on the crossing route while the corner bit on the fake.

Offense was good per usual. Lee is a monster. He's really taken the job and ran with it. Amazing he can run for 166 while running only 1 play design. I thought Taylor played really well. Only 1-2 passes he probably wants back. Too many drops. Really disappointed in Pinkard this year, I expected a lot more out of him. Hopefully we see more next year.

The danger of watching playback on the DVR - I didn't see those other PF's/Unsportsmanlike calls. Swear I watched every play, some twice.

I went back through the play by play and only saw 2 personal fouls on ODU - the one by Johnson and one on Marquel Wilkins. They glossed right by the one on Wilkins on the replay that they didn't even show what happened. The one on Johnson in the last 3 minutes of the game (I think that's the one you are referring to, Gilesfan) was total BS. Check the replay. He hit him before the ball got to the intended receiver. I don't know where Tribal is coming up with 3 unsportsmanlike calls.
