While I'm sorry it has not recently worked out for Munchie, I too am glad for Brendon. CBJ made the right move.

Happy for Kay. He has battled a ton to get back to being ready to play.

Warning to all: do not expect things to go perfectly. Starting is much different than coming in, in relief.

What BJ said! Watch us run wild today! Of course I will be watching on my computer, with a picture that looks like driving in the rain without windshield wipers, but I will be tuned in in Charlotte.

DDaddy, I believe the game will be on SNY, if you happen to have the station.

Good luck to Brendon. Hope he kicks some Owl a$$ big time today. Wouldn't be surprised if Munchie and Luallen see a few snaps as well.

When things are going rough, the 2nd string QB is always the most popular guy on the team.

While I'm happy for this young man to get his shot, this tells me Jones is now not here for the long haul, his blast about attendance and now yanks his starting qb.,UC will have a new head coach within two years.

While time may, or may not, prove you correct, what does yanking a starting QB have to do with it??

I see massive amounts of hot air blowing here.

Replacing a QB who is making major mistakes and costing us wins is a sign that the coach is leaving? That is one of the most ridiculous statements ever.

The difference between building a program over the long haul ( Muncie or any freshman qb starting ) or playing a QB who has been here for four years and never seen the field ( todays starter ), we will see by the end of the year. By the way, from your statements it's very clear you have never played any kind if major athletics ( whether it be high school or college ) and know nothing and I mean nothing about team chemistry. This will divide, you can bank on it.

You go with the QB who gives you the best chance to win. End of story. You want to see chemistry fall apart, continue to play the guy who can't throw the football.

Sorry Bro (Mr/Mrs Legaux maybe?). The team clearly responded to Kay entering the game. The offense instantly went from stagnant to having the feel it can do what it wanted.

As far as divisiveness, try again. Brendon Kay and Munchie Legaux have very strong support for one another. The entire team is close, and will strongly support either QB. That is pretty much CBJ's mantra - the "football family".
