I'll be rooting for you guys against Louisville. I think your team is very capable of beating Louisville at home. I don't have to tell you that if you cut down on the turnvoers and penalities this one could get problematic for the Cards in a hurry.

Thanks...hope we can help ourselves (and you) this week. I feel confident we can upset them.

I believe that if SU had half the turnovers that they actually had, that the game against Louisville tomorrow would be for the BE lead. I also dont believe that SU will get the benefit of the doubt on calls from BE officials, as was demonstrated at the Cincy game. I would like for Cincy and Louisville to blast Rutgers, which I believe they will.

As the old saying, "If Ifs and Buts were Candy and Nuts..."

UC could make the same argument against Louisville from the week before. If Brendon Kay would have come in the 3rd quarter like he did against Syracuse we would have taken the Cards by about the same margin we beat Syracuse.

You may be correct, but its been happening to Syracuse all season long with the turnovers. SU totally dominated Rutgers, TOTALLY, but 5 turnovers caused us to lose the game. Same with Northwestern. SU almost doubled each team in yardage and dominated on first downs and lost. SU also held Rutgers to 235 yards for the whole game. I dont know if we would have beaten Cincy if we had reduced the turnovers, because Cincy actually is one of 3 teams that have actually outgained SU instead of being dominated on the field, but it would have been a better game. especially if the refs didnt give us the calls, which I think will continue to be problematic for SU, especially during bb season.

You are correct. Being unable to stop George Winn from running up and down the field hurt.... probably more than the guys in pinstripes. I know how you guys feel, UC has had their shares of bad calls over the years. Re: turnovers, having a QB who had thrown 6 INTs in two games cost us from being unbeaten.

Best of luck to Syracuse obviously throughout the rest of the year and in the future in the ACC. Maybe some day Cincinnati's and Syracuse's paths will cross again, be it in a bowl game or in the regular season.

Clifton, you are welcomed to post on the Acc board anytime.
