According to our good buddy Brett McMurphy, the Sugar Bowl will be the site (and name) of the new Champions Bowl.

I think this can only help our chances of seeing a 7th Bowl. Jerry wants a BCS level game in his shiny new palace and the other games aren't moving.

If the Sugar is going to get 4 semi finals then any 7th BCS bowl that is established will not be offering regular semi-final rotations. That will hurt its value and really...makes it BCS in name only. Personally, I think the semi-final rotation referred to in this article is subject to change.

Wow...guess what also happened today - BE goes to the open market. Remember BE tv partner said to have a say in BE bowl situation.

I agree with you. Thats not my assumption. The article claimed that was what is expected.
