Not sure. I thought Sagarin at first, but it really doesn't line up. Unless he is using rankings from the previous week... It could also be extended BCS rankings as you can find them past the top 25.

Ordinarily I like to read what Frank posts so that I don't drink too much koolaid and keep my feet firmly planted. He's sobering, yes, but not a troll. But in this case he is wrong. The Big East needs to fight back instead of being everyone's punk. At all levels. Thanks to the ESPiN blowhards who have gone unchallenged these past few years everyone now thinks they can take a swing at the BE and get away with it.
Like Aresco says, those days are over.

Whatever dude.... Do you ever tire from coming on this board and trying to, "put us in our place?"
There have been other conference commissioners and execs taking pot shots at the BE all year.
Someone just took a facial frosting.

You don't have a problem with Delaney or Swofford being douchebags in the media but you rag on The Big East. Your act is growing tiresome. You need to find some new material or take your schtick some where else before you are forced to do so.

I don't know why he has to use Paul Myerburg.
The extended BCS standings here and here have 6 Future Big East in the Top 40, and only 2 ACC in the Top 50.

This. I'm personally fed up with Frank's dulcet tones of reassurance that we will be fed at the kid's table, while the "Big 5" feast at the big boy's table. He's been an apologist for them at best, and a contrarian to anything BE related at worst.
He'll sell his comments as "objectivity" but that's a red herring. The establishment is always right or just misunderstood, so he has to come down to the unwashed masses and explain it to us being careful to use small words. I'm over it.

The thing is though, unlike some former posters who were doing this to get a rise out of people this is his actual opinion. Far be it for us to say he is wrong. When all said and done he could be correct. They (THE OTHER 5 BCS conferences) have been openly trying to push us down. They might actually succeed. I hope they don't and i'm optimistic about our future but I also can see a scenario where we get the ole shaft up the keester.
I think everyone needs to calm down a little bit here. :chillpill:

I'm calm. I'm just over being nice about it. It's time for the BE to start punching back.

SF Husky;
When you get off your high horse and call out idiots like Swofford and Neinas, then you can come here and make your usual statement. When you give those guys the free pass to bash away at the BE, your comments are just bias and full of BS.
There is nothing wrong with what our FB commissioner said. If fact, these things need to be on the BE's Website, in the media and on TV on everything other than ESPiN. That's the only way to fight bad press is with facts. Facts are something ACC and ESPiN ignore regularly. They got bunch of mindless drones on TV using false info to spread bad press. There is absolutely nothing wrong with bringing some truth to the table.

Managing public perception is one job of the conference office. I don't see a damn thing wrong with what Carparelli said. What he stated is true.
If you want to criticize Carparelli, then you should have criticized Neinas, Bowlsby and Swofford, too.
miami will always be a cheating pretender to many of those who watched football before 1980. those same people remember florida state was once a college for women. time changes perception.

I'm new to this site,in my short time here. What I have seen is that Frank the Tank, jumps to the defense of Espin every time someone mentions the conspiracy from espn to destroy the BE league. A blind person can see what espn angle is towards the BE.
It kinda makes me think that Frank works for Espin
