Interestingly USF is playing with an Oline made up of all freshmen or sophomores. Freshmen TE and sophomore or juniors WRs and backs. Only seniors are BJ and then on spot duty Marc at slot and Murray at back.

On defence no seniors on the dline nor LB corps so we are seeing next years team.

Now coaching that's another story

I had to work today and could only see the last 2 minutes. At least it looked like UConn hadn't given up and they were playing hard. We don't have the most talent in the conference. If the kids play hard, that's all you can ask. I'm proud of them.

I was ok with the Coach P hire, but this just isn't working out. Time for a change. UConn is capable of better than 3-6.

We could be looking at two new coaches for each of these universities. Personally, I would wait on Skip Holtz and allow him a couple more years. I think he's a good coach. He did a great job at East Carolina and he deserves more time. Not sure about the UConn coach. He failed at the Cuse and not sure why he would do anything for UConn. None the less, did anyone hear Jason Seahorn, the clown prince of ESPN say 3-4 times the Big Least??? The guy is a clown. The only reason he's on ESPN is because he has a degree in Circus Clown history. He can't get a job anywhere else. The guy has a huge nasty mouth. Nice to see his school USC take a pounding by Oregon.

UConn is just brutal to watch. Our defense is statistically a top 15 unit, yet we are 3-6? How is that possible?

Ucons defense is actually ranked #21. But its ranking is based on the offenses that it has played, which havent been very good. It would be interesting to see if Uconn can maintain that top 25 ranking with such good to great offensive teams yet to play like Pitt, Cincy and Louisville.

Remember that the UConn defense gets absolutely zero help from the offense. The offense can't sustain drives; there are so many three-and-outs.
