It's funny how this has become a tradition at UCF. I had a fraternity brother who was originally at UCF before transferring to USF that almost got arrested as a pledge for messing around the reflection pond. IIRC this was before it got turned into a huge event.

It is a great event, now that I look back on it. It's not nearly as fun for the Marching Knights as it is for everyone else lol.

That is still the case. In 2005 when UCF upset Marshall to end our 14 game losing streak, some students took part of the torn down goalpost for a swim in the Reflection Pond. IIRC, they all got arrested by Campus Police. The only time people are allowed in the Reflection Pond is for Spirit Splash.
