It helps that they shipped Monta Ellis out of town and Mark Jackson has brought a culture of defense and has taught Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson to the point that they are two of the more underrated defenders in the league. The drafting of Ezeli, Barnes and Green also have strengthened their defense and their D will only get stronger when Bogut comes back.

And yes, having Kent Bazemore only strengthens that defensive emphasis at practice.

it wasn't a close game, so I suspect garbage time. I only looked at the box score so I don't know at what time he entered the game.

god that sucked. Didn't even stay around for Asheville Pitt. We had a hotel and everything, we just called, canceled and drove on home to va beach.

Other than "why didn't we box him out", we didn't have much to say after the game.

That team was capable of a vcu-gmu run if we'd just had a slightly better coach or just not been matched up with the god d.mn reincarnate of John wooden in the first god d.mn round.

I'll never forgive the worthless NCAA tourney committee for matching up two potential final 4 calibur mid majors in the first damn round.

Never forget who the real enemy is.,.....the bcs cabal that has been doing this to mid majors for years.

As soon as that play broke down I knew we would lose. I just sat there while everyone around me jumped around and then gasped. The drive home to Virginia Beach was awful. No talking and it took 6 hours.

Nobody got a body on Howard, it was a perfectly designed play that we fell for.
