Maybe you squeeze out a FF3, or a New Mutants. But seriously after that? And you're really starting to lose the age profiles of the castmembers.
Watched Avengers last nite on DVD . Robert Downey was really showing his age. I can't see much beyond Avengers 2, and that's going to have issues.

Return of the Jedi. Lucas used it but couldn't even recognize out the better name.

Black Panther would suck. If The Phantom and Blade sucked, then Black Panther will too.
Ant Man? Maybe, but it's gotta be about the character, not the gimmick. That's what has made IM so good.
Dr Strange? I thought of that too, but I can't see that going well. No room for character development.
Black Panther, the animated series BET had wasn't too bad--I kind of liked it.
The Blade movies didn't suck sans #3. 1st was a good start and Snipes was in total bad ass mode. Only thing kind of crappy about it was the CGI for the Blood God. Blade 2 is one of the most bad ass movies I have ever seen. It improved over the first one in nearly every way. The 3rd sucked though. The over use of comedic relief by Ryan Reynolds and that over campy Vampire chick just got on my nerves.
came here to say this. I'd also like to see Daredevil rebooted. It had a lot of potential and in the right hands could be a pretty sweet movie.

I didn't necessarily hate Daredevil but I did think Elektra was the stronger of the two. I think she had cooler villains but they underused them.

Daredevil is one of my favorite comics. Even the early issues were well written, far beyond what was common for that day.
The movie wasn't terrible, but it felt long. Trying to tell two stories (DD and Elektra).
Reboot, or just move forward, you can tell good DD stories, but you gotta get past the bad vibe of the first one.

As it's been 9 years i'd say they should have no trouble getting "past the bad vibe of the first one." Look at spiderman; the third one was mediocre at best, yet they rebooted like 4 years later and it was a success.

I think it can be done. But, I don't think it will be easy.
SpiderMan had:
2 prior movies that were well received
He's far more popular than DD
Way more action
DD is more cerebral meaning all out action won't cut it.
Back in the early 90s, they did a couple of Hulk TV show specials w/ Bill Bixby. He teamed w/ DD in one, and Thor in another. I only saw it once, but I actually liked the DD episode (Thor was extemely goofy, but had a couple of funny lines). Was it just the novelty? Could be, I can't remember the whole thing completely. But, I do agree that DD can be written well.

I think Marvel has a pretty good plan. I trust them to keep it going for the forseeable future

I wish. There have been talks about a remake for some time. But they haven't found anyone able to pull it off yet. Bruce Lee's don't grow on trees, and his sons are dead...

Ep VII news...
First point about Vaughn is not true. He didn't drop out of X-Men because of Star Wars, he dropped out because of Secret Service. He's working on it with Mark Millar and apparently there were some people coming up with their own screenplays for it, so Millar and Vaughn decided to get ahead of them and crank it out as fast as possible.

QED

We'll see if that makes money.
It could play. Many Marvel characters are better on film than in serials. But it's gotta be a tight story.
Yeah, so maybe not QED. it was absolutely incredible and will probably be another huge money maker for Marvel.
Also, since that amazing prediction we got the aforementioned Thor 2, which was very good and made a ton of money, as well as Captain America 2, which was one of the best marvel movies to date

it's just a teaser. Don't know why people expect so much from it. Wait till the full trailer comes out before judging
