Saw in one of the ODU articles that GaSt has over the FCS limit in schollys so maybe you've got a chance.
Good luck.
I doubt that. If we are its maybe by 2 or 3. We accepted the invite too late for it to affect recruiting. I am hoping we get up for this like we did for South Alabama last year

Any football game is an opportunity. Odds may be stacked against you like crazy. That could make it all that more meaningful if you did beat ODU. True, hardly anyone expects you to win. Just hope that your players feel that you have a chance and that odd shaped ball bounces your way and some of your players step up. ODU doesn't have much of a defense so you shouldn't be troubled on that side, if your offense can produce, you never know.

You're averaging barely 20k and you popped a massive 14k this week. There are like 5 mid major conference schools averaging over 29k year in and year out. If you lose your attendance will suck.
You of all people can't say a word about attendance. And for your information, we have been losing, for 8 straight years now and can still pull at least 17k attendance every year. Your team could go undefeated and still not dream of averaging 17k. I said I meant no offense to your school and that your situation would improve but screw that. You're a dick. And your school was the worst add that the Sun Belt ever made. No wonder everyone regrets adding you.

Man. Well, I think in the long run our attendance will be solved 1) when we start winning games and 2) when we're playing higher level teams. When we were FCS, having 15,000 fans was great, it put you within the top 10 FCS teams and was way above expectations (at least for about 90% of the FCS). This season, we still have an FCS schedule and nothing has changed in the eyes of most of our students, but suddenly anything below 20,000 is unreasonably low. Not winning certainly hasn't helped, but we can't reasonably expect higher attendance until we actually start to play as an FBS team.

Joe no offense but the comment was directed at usajags who has serious GSU heartburn. He has to include us and add snide comments even when the thread has nothing to do with us.

I think most sane people realize that when you lose people do not show up because they have experienced it themselves. We will be fine. In the coming years the schedule will become more and more appealing year by year. It's all about the HC hire now Cheryl.

We gave some schollys to previous non-scholly players right before the season just so that our two-year average would be where it needs to be at the end of our transition period.

Holy crap you do like talking out of your ass!
If we went undefeated, we would smash 17K no problem. If we did it with an FBS schedule, we would average 25K at least.
I don't talk about your attendance because (1) I don't care and (2) I do not know anything about it. For some reason, you do care about ours, yet not knowing anything about it hasn't deterred you from opining about it, wonder why?
