I figure due to diversity this is as good a place as any to ask ....

Anybody here have a rotary tool? I'm thinking about getting this classic for somebody for xmas: http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/DREMEL-...cm_vc=FFMP

... but these days everybody has their own version from Craftsman and I'm sure there's a Husky (Home Depot brand name), etc. Wondering if anybody has had one and if it holds up?

Re: OT: Rotary
I bought my dad one for Christmas last year. It was a Rockwell. I chose that one because it had a larger motor. I will say that it won't do everything the commercials says it will but it does have its uses. What would it primarily be used for? Light duty sanding and cutting drywall has been its best use so far.

Agreed. Also, anything with a battery is bound to have less torque.
