Not really. What game are (good) recruits more likely to want to watch or attend and will garner interest in our program? TXST versus Texas Tech or UNT?

Do you really think they're interested in Tx State-San Marcos or Texas Tech?

That answer is a big time yes that recruits seem more interested in Texas State. Watch and see now that Texas State is FBS.

I think UNT posters are just plain pissed that we got accepted into the FBS fold. What other reason do they have to keep doggin' on us? (Unlike any other SBC school)

They'd rather attend/watch a game vs Tech than UNT.

Even with that score recruits who were at the game committed to Texas State due to the education and game atmosphere.

Rellay? I don't think I know any UNT fans that are pissed you guys are FBS. In fact I know a lot that would have preferred Tx State over UTSA in CUSA.

I went to see a good friend of mine up in San Marcos last weekend and it was pretty awesome I will admit. This UNT-Texas State pissing match is cute though. One fluke win over us and Texas State is on top of the world. That being said, I predict that they will surpass UNT in the very near future. (If they haven't already)
