1. K. State - These guys appear to be for real. I still can't believe they demolished OU.

2. Oklahoma - Losing to K State may end up being their undoing in Norman.

3. Oklahoma St. - I think they will have a hard time holding this spot.

4. Iowa St. - Solid team. Could stay with almost anyone in the conference.

5. Texas Tech - Surprise team of the league.

6. Texas - On again and off again. Which team will show up next week?

7. TCU - Very young team. They will beat someone else before it's over.

8. WVU - Mountaineers have talented offensive players but no real defense. They appear to be having trouble with the weekly grind of the Big 12.

9. Baylor - They would not be a 9 slot team in almost any other conference.

10. Kansas - Big crowd showed up in Lawrence. Seems basketball practice started.

Not sure how you can have Iowa St ahead of Tech after Tech beat them in Ames. As of right now, Tech is the 3rd best team in the conference.

Obviously this can change from week to week. I have no grand illusion of beating K-State in Manhattan but I hope we can keep it close. We get UT, Kansas, @Okla St and Baylor in Arlington afterwards.

I don't see Texas being above WVU, considering WVU beat the Longhorns on their home field...

I sure hope Holgorsen gets the offense back on track before November rolls around. I'd prefer not heading up to Morgantown to see WVU get stomped again by TCU. But I'm beginning to think the defense is a lost cause this season under DeForest. Holgorsen should think about giving the job to Keith Patterson...

Bit, I see what you are saying but I think UT took everything out of WVU a couple weeks ago in Austin. Honestly it was a toss up for me.

I also hope Dana gets the offense figured it out otherwise it might be painful for WVU in their 1st season in the Big 12.

I see your point about Texas but the fact is that everyone is beating everyone else in this league so it makes it hard to rate them 1 thru 10. Truth is, it should be Kansas St., Oklahoma and then everyone else except Kansas. I look for Tech to fade before the season is over, they just haven't experienced their losing yet like the rest of us have.

That's about how I see it. K-State, Oklahoma, still sorting out 3-9, and then Kansas...

It appears to me that, excluding Kansas, Baylor, and ISU, the other 7 teams are capable of beating each other on any given Saturday.
