Nope. That asshat is going to lose and then welch. I want everyone to see it.

Heads should have rolled. When people are told to go to the Superdome and then just forgotten. Big ass difference.
Maybe your partisanship will not allow you to see the difference. I can.
Please tell me you reserve some of your outrage for that idiot Nagan and whoever Louisiana's governor was back then.
LeTourneau was her name.
First off, it wasn't Bush's fault they went to the Superdome, that was the city's fault. Secondly, it wasn't the hurricane that done the damage to New Orleans, it was the storm surge from the hurricane that caused the levees to breach. Lastly, it's a state's responsibility to get aid to it's citizens. You don't hear the people from Waveland, MS complaining about the fed government and that place was wiped from the face of the earth.

Probably worth mentioning she declined Federal assistance multiple times when Bush asked. The federal government just couldn't go in. They had to be asked.

I stand by the bet. Plenty of time between now and the election. Obama will get to 320.

RE: Official Debate Thread
I'm not going to go back and find the original post but someone much earlier said no one would be watching this debate and I told them they were wrong. Early ratings for last night were 65.6m viewers, barely off the 67m from 1st debate. That's the most for a 2nd presidential debate since 1992. Now I'm not sure if the third debate will do that well - it's next Monday and will go head to head against MNF (Chicago and Detroit) and a possible game 7 of the NLCS between St. Louis and San Francisco.

That was me. I am amazed! I just popped into the thread to see if anyone had posted the ratings. Wow. That is phenomenal.

The sparring, theatrics, and different styles were fantastic. There are so many soundbites that are going to nail Romney even though he had a good debate. The Obama team really game planned Romney. They were prepared for his foreign investment comeback that he used to destroy Newt. They knew that Romney hates to be interrupted, thanks to Rick Perry. The flub on Libya is going to hurt, it shines a light on Romney's foreign policy weakness and takes his best attack off the table next week. Look for Obama to interrupt the sh1t out of Romney next week.
Wait, I didn't watch the debate but this makes it sound like Obama was interrupting Romney. That can't be. Chris Mathews says Romney was disrespecting the president by interrupting him. And that Romney was violating the Constitution by doing so. He forgot to cite the specific provision, emmanation, or penumbra that Romney violated but I'm sure that was just because of time constraints. My faith in the objectivity and quality of American journalism is being shaken.
