ULL@UNT - Layin' or Takin'
Tuesday night's game currently has the Cajuns as a 4 point road favorite.

So are you layin' the points or takin' 'em?

I will give 4 to UNT all day long. Cajuns will control both sides of the line of scrimmage and will beat the spread.

Lots of folks would have given 4 to Texas Tech and taken West Virginia on Saturday. Like that game - this number was lower than I expected - so I wondered what everyone else thought.

Man, I thought the Cajuns would be bigger favorites.

They absolutely whipped FIU.

Common opponent: UL won in Troy by a couple of TD's. UNT lost at home to Troy by one TD.

More turnovers are random than not, so I'm sure Vegas adjusted for that regarding Troy vs. Cajuns game.

RE: ULL@UNT - Layin' or Takin'
I will be heading up to Denton tomorrow. Me and my brother have been looking forward to this because he lives up there and I'm going to visit him. As for the game, UNT is a run first and run second kind of team and that plays into the strength of the cajuns defense who hasn't allowed more than 60 yards rushing in a game outside of Oklahoma State. I think they will give up more than that, but not enough for UNT to ever really feel comfortable on offense. I think the cajuns will get more points that UNT fans will expect, but not as many as get got against FIU. I think the final score will be 32-24 cajuns.

My take on Sun Belt talent is that WKU may be slightly better than the rest. So every week you have kids who are pretty much equal to each other, and it is always about who can come to play week in and week out. Right now I believe the Cajuns can do it, but am not confident enough to put any money one way or another.
