BC$ Rankings
From http://www.bcsguru.com/bcs_standings.htm which are pretty much identical to the real thing, but show past the Top 25.

Of note:
Sun Belt
#30 - WKU
#40 - ULM

Others:
#22 - Boise St
#26 - Ohio
#28 - Northwestern
#31 - LaTech

Northwestern is the top eligible Big 10 team. Ohio is the top MAC team, Boise St is the Top MWC and top non-aq. Whichever non-aq team finishes both ahead of an AQ champion (Big 10 most likely) and in the Top 16, gets an at large berth. Still mathematically possible. If a Belt team can crack the Top 25, the remaining strength of schedule is probably better than Boise St or Ohio's. Interesting to see how far the Belt has come.

RE: BC$ Rankings
Depends on a lot of factors. Ohio is finally going to play MAC teams with pulses soon. BGSU and Ball State are decent teams. In addition the MAC still can make some noise with Toledo playing Cincinnati and Kent State playing Rutgers. NIU and Toledo are getting vots now so if both keep winning then they will be a solid game for the championship. If Kent State keeps winning then they will certainly be a quality win at the end of the year.

Not saying no Belt teams have a similar situation (I am sure you do though I do not know your individual schedules) but the MAC has a chance to make some noise though I am really uncertain we can pull off those games. I would say that SOS will become comparable and so Ohio getting ranked first (and assuming they are undefeated) will likely keep them ahead of anybody except perhaps Boise. Boise may stay ahead unless they lose or if Kent and Toledo win those games and keep winning. If they do that then an undefeated Ohio beating those teams will look very good and Boise really does not have any chances of getting that many more quality wins right now.

The Sun Belt still has OOC games against Miss St, Tennessee, Navy (twice), and Hawaii

Not a snowball's chance in hell. If any of us won out, we wouldn't crack the top 16 nor would we pass a 1 loss Boise or an undefeated Ohio.

Ohio and Boise St both play teams that they could just as easily lose to as beat. The same can be said for WKU, ULM, or ULL. Since they all play each other plus several other good belt teams. Now if everyone wins, then it will be hard to pass them, but it certainly is possible. Plus top 16 isn't in the AP or Coaches poll, it is in the BCS ratings, where the computers should give us a nice boost since we have 3 Belt teams that are all right there in the 30's-40's. It is extremely unlikely, but it is technically possible. In the end, I am sure the system finds a way to cheat all of us non-aqs and gifts the Big 10 a top 16 team.
