RIP BB.

He really did contribute a ton to the local and even national music scene. It wasn't until the last few years and some spare time that I came to understand the entire Ronnie and the Daytona's connection. Right up until the time he left us, he and his family contributed greatly to the music that many of us grew up with.

My dad was friends with both Sr. and Jr. I was bout 10 years old when I went quail hunting for the first time and it was with Sr. on some of his property. Very nice man and admired that I took 9 quail with 10 shots. Jr. later opened a business that actually competed with my dad's but they spoke often. Another thread in the Memphis music fabric taken away too soon. Prayers for the family.
