He also threw for over 200 yards and 3 TD's and was 12 of 12 passing in the 2nd half. The fumbles were a very fluky situation...he's not happy with the coaching staff, andd lets it get to his play sometimes. That doesnt mean he cant take a hit.

Give USA credit for adapting and going for the ball, but Aplin may not fumble again this year, thats how sure his hands are supposed to be.

I've given credit to USA for a well played game.

Being the new guy doesn't mean carrying a damn chip on your shoulder.

I think it's the ole "we should have RUTS on the new guys but didn't" complex that got it going; not a chip on the shoulder. Aplin's fumble on the goal line and your two other fumbles were more than mitigated by our penalties and our own turnover in the red zone. There was some sloppiness on both sides, but I've seen a lot worse. I think SOUTH turned a corner with it's new offense at MSU, took a step back vs Troy, and then took a couple of steps forward against aSu. It wasn't a fluke and it wasn't because of sloppy play. Most of our games this year have been close statistically, we just haven't been lighting up the scoreboard.

Kudos on the W. See ya'll in Mobile next year.

No post I've made warranted the response I received.

No fluke that ASU had three horrific special teams play. Consistent with the season.

USA has been complimented. I went into detail on my site (and alluded here) to the fact that USA was more effective than other league opponents in their offensive possessions.

Arkstfan, I went back to re-read which posts you are referencing and maybe I'm missing something. There was one USA fan that was saying Aplin couldn't hold onto the ball when he got hit in this game, and several ASU fans disagreeing with him. I didn't see anything out of the norm in terms of posts from either side. What posts are you referring to that were unwarranted?
