RE: Tulane
That helps us in several ways...1) Tulane's RPI boost will help the two SBC teams that throttled them and 2) This pretty much ensures that SMU is not going bowling. And Tulane isn't going anywhere. It would have been better if UH had lost to UAB because I'd like to see only 3 bowl eligible CUSA teams plus UCF.

While I see your point in regards to UAB, I just can't bring myself to pull for the Blazers to win anything Tom. I hate them, wholely and completely. I hate everything about UAB athletics. The ONLY thing I appreciate about UAB is their fine medical school, it does a lot of good for the people of Alabama.

That is the "University of Alabama" Medical Center which happens to be at UAB. And the medical school could limit admittance to residents of Alabama who pay for the school through taxes.

UAB medical school or Alabama medical school. Its kind of both dont you think?

Hey, as long as UAB loses every game in every sport, every year...I don't care what you call that medical school.

UAb has announced a new campus in Montgomery, the that would make them UA's BM. 04-rock Which is pretty much what they have always been.

You may have been joking but I'm not so sure there were really many more than 75 there.

If that SMU type crowd can be reported 11,500, then schools like ULL and North Texas should be reported as outdrawing Michigan and Florida.

Never believe a TooLame attendance figure. Unless SMU brought 11k with them there was not 11.5k at that game including dome staff.

I work with the father of one of the Tulane cheerleaders. He went to the game to watch her cheer. When we asked what the real attendance was he replayed "Erath had more at their game." For those not familiar, Erath is very small town outside of Lafayette. The Erath High Bobcats play single A football.

My Tulane-SMU tweet from Saturday.

@ArkSt_com: Getting beat by Tulane as you leave CUSA is like stepping on that flaming paper bag on your porch.
