It's time for Mr. Benson to take a stand on player safety and conduct on the field. Troy center Kyle Wilborn has earned the reputation as one of the Sun Belts dirtiest football players! Last nights game only amplifies the case against him that began with his actions against the Cajuns last month.

Film was sent to the Sun Belt Conference office of 14 questionable blocks from behind, the largest number being committed by Wilborn. He was called for a personal foul after ripping the helmet off a UL player when the UL player retaliated for several illegal blocks from behind. When another UL DL Justin Hamilton came to his teammate’s aid, he was ejected from the game.

After Wilborn’s second personal foul last night, he should have been ejected and the commissioner should suspend him for his continued behavior and play on the football. ASU and UL had players suspended this year by the SBC for far less. The evidence against Wilborn is overwhelming and its time Benson to do more than review the video of Wilborn’s infractions. And for any Troy fan that wants to defend the actions of this athlete, spare us the recrimination of other program’s athletes.

Yes Because WKU played a Clean game. BOTH Teams had PF penalties. Both Teams played dirty. I saw may cases where WKU players taking hits at Troy plays for no reason.

After two personal foul penalties...you think this scumbag deserves to stay in the game? If you do...your a Troy homer and a dipshit.

He needs to be disciplined somehow. He's costing Troy games with his 15 yard penalties...

I think this is the player Enrique got flagged for driving into the ground after the whistle. Got penalized but the dude didnt mess with Enrique anymore after that

Agreed, that is all I'm saying. I'm not making the case Hamilton didn't deserve to be suspended according to Sun Belt rules. But Wilborn has gotten a long rope.

Who was the Troy lineman the got flagged for the WWE forearm body slam to the back of the head to the WKU defender after the whistle? The camera got a clear shot of that and, IIRC, they even showed it in reply (or maybe I just ran it back on the DVR). If Benson is not willing to take action there I don't think he ever will.
