Per David Drew's Bronco hockey season preview article, looks like berschy was suspended for violating team rules, will be out at least this weekends series vs St. Lawerence.....

"With forward Shane Berschbach suspended for at least the first series of the season for violating team rules, Cichy will have a chance to show his skills on the Broncos’ top line with Dane Walters and Chase Balisy. He played with them in Saturday’s exhibition game against Western Ontario."

Does Sumcritique know anything about this? Is this anything serious? Did he just skip practice? We need everyone this year, we need as many goal scorers as possible

About time, it has been killing me not knowing. That line is one of the best in the ccha. Needs to get his ducks in a row.

that is about as much as i know too. he broke 'team rules' and is being punished accordlingly. not sure when he'll be back; i just know he won't be playing this weekend.

Is it just me, or is Berschbach seemingly always in the "dog house"?
