Let me try again.....Troy has the most Sun Belt Conference bowls....and getting one this year will Further distant that.

Well MT has the most bowl selections in years that we didn't capture a share of the title and I don't expect either of us to be getting a share this year.

in 2004 we were 2nd in the conference to UNT. all the other times we were conference champs.

We SHOULD Be looking for our SEVENTH bowl this year. Damn 2007 when we went 8-4 and didnt make a bowl because FAU upset us at home and we had to share the conference with them. Going 8-4 and no bowl is ridiculous

Yes, but MT has two bowl appearances in years we weren't champs to your one, and in 2001 we sat at home at 8-3 and co-champs. As much as the 2006 loss to you guys hurt, if given the choice of getting that game or the 2001 UNT game back it would be a tough decision for most MT fans, at least we still went bowling in 2006.

Ok, that makes sense. I probably could've read the whole thread. That confused the crap out of me at first as I know Troy has owned the SBC in the past. I forget how young the league is sometimes.

How many SBC programs were FBS prior to the SBC creation? Ark St, ULL???

UL, Ark State, UNT and im not sure past that

I like (and hate) the banners. Troy's stadium is my favorite in the SBC and I've been to all but UNT and FIU. I did feel like that endzone was a bit bare and empty, but this looks to remedy that.

The end zone building is in the works and will be bowled all the way around. 30% of funds are raised for this 35Million dollar addition.
