Whoa whoa whoa, you are guaranteeing stuff like this? Damn dude, you REALLY need to cool it...you look foolish.

Predicting a win, even a blowout, is one thing. But to guarantee stats like you're doing is just obsurd.

I'm having some fun with you people so don't get the ole panties in a wod please.. Nothing like game week!04-cheers
No back peddle here.

Well if you didn't mean it the way it read than I take back my "clown" comment, but you should be mindful of how the things you post read...especially under these circumstances. This is a game week discussion, where folks are spouting off their game predictions left and right, and you come up with specific defensive stats predictions and declare them as a given in your post.

It read very negatively.

Boot 'em!! Boot 'em all!!!

But I will say that predicting a WKU win isn't arrogant. In fact, predicting a blowout (as foolish as that would be IMO), isn't arrogant. It just means that the predictor has faith in their team, not that they don't respect Troy.

I only say this bc I would have said predicting a blowout against USM was borderline arrogant, but the ball just happened to bounce WKU's way that day. Things happen in a game and while a WKU blowout is unlikely, it is possible. Just as it's possible for Troy to win by multiple scores.

No...you just said that Topper fans were being arrogant on other threads while not qualifying the statement. Brother.

RE: Western - Troy Line
Hear .... I'll give my honest thoughts on our game with Troy

This game scares me!
1. At Troy
2. I've seen every Belt team play and Troy is tough minus the TO's ( Miss St showed how good)
3. If Troy fixes the TO's WKU could lose
4. No WKU fan support (Thursday game 8 hours away)

But I do see us doing a few things
1. Getting to the QB more than Troy is used to
2. Controlling the clock
3. Missing three FG's
4. Passing more than we normally do

This game will be close and low scoring since both teams will control the game clock
First team to score over 24 wins.

I agree with this....Not sure about it being low scoring tho.

And I am convinced trading UNT for Texas State was a great move for the Sun Belt. Enjoy moving down to C-DOA, maybe yall can win some games now.

Edit: You see how I talked smack, and DIDN'T get personal? That's how it's done. 03-thumbsup

Whoa there Lifetime, don't try to get chippy with me there bud. I've read some arrogant posts from your fans, if you haven't that's fine...but I wasn't calling people simply predicting a win as being arrogant. Don't put words in my mouth.

Eh, I've ready arrogant posts from every fanbase. I just prefer to call out individual posters rather than label an entire group. And I wouldn't have had to put words in your mouth if you had fleshed out your initial comment about Topper arrogance.

Nothing but love my friend, nothing but love. And for the sake of this discussion, Go Trops! Is that PC enough?

You did throw a personal attack at me though? Just because I through out some random opinions on the game. You hurt me little feeling! Lol

And I took it back just as quickly as I threw it out there.

Do you really feel "personally insulted" by someone calling you a clown? After what you posted, in a fashion that appeared to be a legit precition, I thought I was being fair. 03-lmfao

heck someone just called me a 4 year old girl, I'm not crying about it. Welcome to the internet.

Gosh...I'm sooooo tired of ALL these Troy fans and their personal attacks!!

See, I just projected your attacks on the whole Troy fan base.

On a separate note....man, I love game week. Wish I could make it down to the game on Thursday. I used to live in the 'ham and got to visit Troy a time or two. Minus being in BFE, it's really a pretty campus. Kinda reminded me of Miss St. Definitely fun place to go party.

don't sweat it lifetime. the gump buffoons can talk all the smack they want but when ONE western fan says something they consider smack it's on like donkey kong. what's embarrassing is some don't have any idea how pitiful their buffoonery is.

i tried to warn all the new western fans that if you don't lick that gump o-ring you can get in trouble. consider yourselves first hand witnesses now.
