Hope to have a good turnout tonight and all that are able can come.
Going to be on campus all day, first for the Campus Classic, followed by the football game, and leading up to the real attraction in the evening.

Look's like this is the fourth exhibition game for Western Ontario.

Two 5 on 3 power plays after western Ontario charged slubowski, resulting in a five minute major in last four minutes. Goal by Walters was a pp goal. Goal by mustangs was also on a previous 5 on 3. Crowd is HUGE. SHOTS 11 To 5

The student side is standing room only. Looks like scum is in town. A few games lasts year early in the year had fewer people than tonight. Little sloppy so far. Great day to be a bronco!

They'll be fine. These Canadian exhibitions are always a chip fest.

I was very happy with the student turnout!! Exhibition game and the student section was well over 100% capacity. "announced" attendance was 2800 which has to be an estimate since they didn't have any tickets or counters. Every section of the student section was filled, plus 2 additional sections on the side, plus some students sitting elsewhere to get seats.

I'm going to have to start showing up more than the normal 2 hours I do before a hockey game!

On the game related notes: The Ontario players in the penalty box didn't understand what a "facemasking" penalty was. They also came over and taunted the Lunatics after the shootout win. That Sublowski play where he came way out of his net was downright stupid and I hope he makes better decisions than that.

We were told that the CCHA now allows 4-on-4 hockey as an option for OT that can be accepted (and we were told WMU would accept the option). Not sure what changed (we were on the PK at the time), but both teams came out for 5-on-5.

Garrett Harr was in the penalty box at the end of regulation. Overtime was started 5 on 4 with WMU on the penatly kill.
