Many of you already know me from the now-FUBARed Scout CMU site or the old MLive boards ( ). I'm a mod here. Discussion is encouraged. Personal attacks are not. Otherwise, pretty much let it fly!

FWIW, I think this would be a step up from the Scout board. I am willing.

CMU70 has found his way here, I hope I can make the adjustments to the new sites. It will take some time as I have been on the Scout site for some 7-8yrs. or more.

I will need some help navigating around the site. For starters I would like to get my waving flag that I used on Scout. I will try later when I have more time but any help would be appreciated. I hate experimenting on line I get impatient.

I just noticed CMUfanatic has the waving flag here, I'd like to do the same as it has been with me for some time......

At least this place is better than the new Fox Sports Crap site.

Welcome 70. I've been on both sites for awhile. It is different here, but some things, like emoticons and HTML, are easier.

ben i have been on this site for a while mostly reading because there is a lot of good mac talk. I have had this account for several years i will look at my profile to see how i got the C flag.

I'll get use to it , just have to play around a bit. Just hope to see all the regulars on one or all the newer sites. I know it takes a lot more time but I have a bit of that being retired.

I have gone to the CP and tried to add my waving C avatar as I had on the old site. but I have been unsuccessful. I could use some help.

This website seems to be better than the scout website. I like how there are also forums for each conference and division. The conference realignment forum is also pretty interesting.

how do you reply on the old scout site, i hit reply and i am kicked out to this global menu of all the different forums. I am logged in but still cannot reply
it is also making me sick to look at all the different advertisements

I'm having the same problems on the old scout site. It took me forever just to find the forums. Once I finally got there I couldn't even click on any of the threads. It just froze up and wouldn't open anything. I've spent two days trying to figure it out. I give up. I think I'm going to make this site my new home.

It'll be nice to have an active CMU board on this site instead of one with CE having 90% of the posts.
