Oh yeah, Larry couldn't even get the punting right.

I just think it's cool MEMPHIS is going to the Big East next year regardless.

No one argues the meal ticket of men's basketball didn't get the TIGERS in. And TIGER football damn sure needs some help after the painful backsliding of 2008 - 2011. But football will improve, if for no other reason just being in a bigger BCS level conference. Some FB recruits that ordinarily wouldn't give MEMPHIS the time of day are considering MEMPHIS, like that Florida LB (forgot his name). Fuente will get his share of 3 stars, and a few 4 stars.

As I mentioned in other threads, it'll be tough this year. Maybe 1 or 2 wins. MAYBE. It'll be tougher next year even if the team has improved in skill and size AND roster numbers because the ramp up in competition will be major. So maybe 2 wins again; possibly 3.

Oh, and the extra $$$ from the new TV contract will help, too. I hope it's between $10mm - 12mm a year. Time will tell.

I'll miss Southern Miss but no one else. It's just GREAT to escape C-USA.

I'm trying to figure out why you think I'm angry. None of my posts have been in anger. Just factual accounts of recent wins and losses. It's the locals who blow up at my posts and get all bent out of shape with the personal attacks.

as offensive as those numbers are the most offensive aspect is that they are an improvement over the last two years....


btw: most of our fans undertand this, that is why they are happy with our coach and direction of the program.
