Just go on ESPN3 and watch the "crowd" versus NT at FAU today. Tulane does better.

I see your FAU and raise you a UAB. And will add in a FIU if needed.

tulane is getting obliterated by a sunbelt team right this second. we got obliterated by a sunbelt team last week.

this is an odd time to pick at the "C-USA rocks and the sunbelt sucks" scab.

Tulane, Rice, FIU, and UAB have attendence issues in CUSA. UNCC? Who knows?
FAU and Georgia State have attendence issues in the Belt.

Because we may have worse football but at least we're relevant.

Every team in the Sun Belt has attendance issues. ULL has had one decent season of attendance, that is it.

I looked up only 3 schools so far, troy, mtsu, and USA, and every home game for those teams except for troy vs miss st. had less than 18k in attendance

Yeah, the SBC attendance is really terrible except ULL, WKU and UNT. We're pretty much giving tickets away for the ESPN game so it should stay the same way. Our attendance #s aren't even accurate, last week the stadium was 80% full and we somehow had less attendance than the opener? Yeah right.

Let's just say there are plenty of C-USA and Sun Belt tickets to be found on StubHub.

The $EC isn't number 1 because of attendance. Wins are all that matter. I would rather consistently win in front of 15K than lose in front of 35K every week.

troy has averaged what 17k the last 2 or 3 seasons?

Look up what ECU puts in the stands and tell me The SBC has something to match.

Troy @ UAB this year put more fans in Legion Field than Troy's stadium can even hold. I think you have the wrong board.

Troy's reached it's pinnacle of football, They are limited by every aspect of being in Troy, Alabama. Come on Man.

I think Tulsa will tell you, UAB is on the rise this year with this coach. We hadn't gelled yet when we played you guys. Be glad you got us early because you would've gotten beat by the team we put out there today.

Wasn't the UAB Troy game part of a one ticket triple header with a couple of FCS games?

And how many of those fans do you think were in our game?
UAB's attendance records:
1 Southern Miss (2003) 44,669
2 Mississippi State (2006) 36,104
3 TCU (2004) 33,280
4 Troy (2006) 32,818
5 Virginia Tech (1998) 31,897
6 Southern Miss (2005) 31,363
7 Kansas (1998) 30,543
8 Troy (2012) 28,612

For Troy
1 Miss state @ Troy (2012) 27k IIRC

DBL header on saturday, do you think Sunday's game made a difference in that game?

Also as much as it was raining do you think that anyone from that second game entered early for ours?

Troy generally comes in dead last in the Sun Belt's Bubas Cup standings for the conference's best overall athletic program. MTSU, WKU and UNT are 1-3. Would like CUSA to add WKU and MTSU at some time.
