As I stated in another thread, I was able to go to the game with some family and leading up to the game there was a definite buzz in Monroe about the game. The fans showed up for tailgating and in the stadium; it was a great experience. The only negative thing I'd have to say is that they ran out of concessions before halftime even started; I don't know how you mismanage something like that when you know the crowd is going to be big...

BTW...I'm jealous of that video board!

CONGRATS to the Warhawks on a hard fought, fun, and overall AWESOME effort against Baylor . . SOLD OUT stadium on ESPN . . LOUD CROWD . . ESPN POURED ON THE LOVE for ULM . . America's Team . . North LA's Team . . ULM will be talked about all week and it will all be good.

Running out of concessions seems to be a North La thing.. Tech did the same last week.. Of course with them its a matter of being small time cause only 22K showed up.. ULM just wasnt prepared for the onrush of enthusiastic fans.

That 2-quarterback thing was a surprise to us, too. It's not unique but I've never seen it used that way before. Baylor was totally confused.

A lot of teams have tried the 2 QB thing, very few have been happy in the end with using it. Good luck.
