Our Not So Secret Weapon?
I am increasingly impressed with Coach Hazell's character and presence. See if you agree after watching his talk at the HOF lunch on Sept. 11.
Hazell at HOF Lunch
He has to be crazy busy, but hope we can use this great ambassador for KSU to reach out to the public as much as possible.
Can't be sure if he'll finally break the code on KSU football, but think he has a great shot. Recruits and their parents have to be impressed when he comes into their living rooms.
What are your impressions of DH?

I've been very impressed. Don't know why we waited so long to poach an up and coming OSU assistant that knows how to recruit the region. Guy believes in the University and it shows.

"Funk", I think it took so long because the last time they hired a young, up-and-coming OSU assistant, Glen Mason, it was an unmitigated disaster? No, wait........

Hazell has been great in all assets of representing KSU has the head football coach on & off the field. Very happy he is KSU's head coach. Just hope he stays for more than 2 yrs and that JN/TK have a bunch of replacement candidates lined up to keep Hazell's momentum.
