Whats the full story there anyway. I couldnt understand a single thing out of that article, it had to be written by a lawyer...

The only specific thing mentioned or refered to was per diem... I think it said they were going to report 5 secondary violations- I wish the article would have listed them.

You evidently have never been to a youth fast pitch softball game. They're quite entertaining. Oh...you're talking about what's going on on the field...i'm referring to the entertainment from the stands. There's nothing more entertaining than watching moms in the stands going all redneck on opposing players, umpires, and other parents. It's like the Jerry Springer show.

Sounds vaguely familiar except Arkansas State rather than ECU, volleyball rather than softball. Apparently pretty cruel and tyrannical behavior toward players in both cases and the secondary violation at ASU was an illegal practice for the subs conducted on an asphalt parking lot to toughen them up before they sat on the bench to watch the starters play.

Main difference was ASU issued a release saying the coach was leaving after a successful season to pursue other opportunities instead of one using legalese to tell the story without telling it.

Sounds like ECU did what it was supposed to do. Sort of strange the release quotes the chancellor for the "we protect our student-athletes" quote instead of the AD.

Oh I have seen the stands...I found that much more fascinating then the game. Mothers are especially bad in Womens sports. We run into them occasionally at ASU when someone believes our bashing of the Womens Basketball Coach is actually meant for her daughter.

Ive tried watching softball, but between the low scoring, and the constant chants the players come up with, it makes it almost impossible to watch.

I would gladly watch soccer all day before watching Girls softball...

I originally posted it as we see some ECU posters here occasionally.
