Any truth to this? Do the moderators here ban people because their friends arbitrarily want them to be banned?

Quit the posturing man. They don't like it around here. Let it go. I messaged you and asked you nicely to just drop it and gave you your rep points back. You decided not to play the game. Instead you are just being a baby. Let it go.
I am more than willing to give your rep points back and forget the whole thing. But the mods over here have been over this baby crap for a while. I don't need to ask anyone to ban you. They will do it on their own free will and call it a day.
