wtf......your boy has stated you have the top 5-6 offensive players in the conference and aplin ain't even in the group.

this revelation deserves its own thread. Hell. It deserves a stickie.

How in gods name did you assemble the top 5-6 offensive players in the conference under our noses? And then were brilliant enough to stash them away because the non conference games didn't matter.

Honestly. I'm stunned. Your boy semenhole injun is spittin' gump level smack.

I kid you not. I thought we'd have a shot against you. Not like I'd lay money but we've played you decent games the last two years. Hell. I was thinking of coming to the game. Semenhole just saved me a lot of gas money. No way in hell I take that trip now.

Who are these 'x-men' that been squirrelled away???

I thought "our boy" had declared that he is NOT a stAte fan.

I don't know what he's proclaimed - but Rocky Hays and JD McKissic and David Oku look like very strong first year players to me. And I don't think we had anyone that explosive and elusive on our offense last year.

Seminole is not an ASU fan. He got angry at us a few years ago when he was mistreated on our board.

If you asked him...he's a fan of Southern Miss, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Memphis.

He's sure doing a good imitation right now of an ASU kool-aide drinker. I was puzzled by that, because I have seen him in here hating on the Wolves a lot.

RE: yo.....asu fans
thanks for the clarification amigos. for someone that's not a fan he sure knows the ins and outs of what gus is doing.

isn't he the one that's a big balla and been retired since his 30's? the gentleman millionaire?

i hate that we'll be facing the x-men a couple weeks from now but am very glad the conference is picking players up like this. you guys saw the impact dowling made last week for us. i just wish ya'll hadn't held them out of the nebraska an oregon games. i know conference matters the most for a guaranteed bowl but you coulda won those 2 games if gus hadn't held them out and we'd already have a top 25 team.

I don't know who he is - but I think he might have a relative inside the athletic department or in the administration somewhere. Also at one time was supposedly friends with an assistant coach on the previous staff. He loves being "in the know" about a school he doesn't care about, evidently.

Yeah - I don't really buy it either.

And this is the main x-man - true freshman Rocky Hayes. Was 3rd team cornerback as a true freshman @ Oregon. They moved him to RB (rocket back?) with 2 practices to prepare for Memphis. He had 4 touches for 68 yards. He has 10 for 115 on the season. With the ball in his hands, he's the closest thing I've seen to TY Hilton in a stAte uniform.

He's an ASU grad who lives in Jonesboro. He is family friends through his church with a couple people in Administration, and was friends with an assistant coach under Roberts and Freeze. However, he refuses to attend ASU games at all. Its been something like 8 years since he attended a single football game.

We sort of teased and mistreated him on our board and he got mad and started posting on here and a couple other places. He claims to be a fan of several regional schools, yet never attends their games either.

Earlier this year he was over on the Memphis board trying to convince everyone he was a Memphis fan, despite the fact he hadnt attended a Memphis game since like the 1970's...it was quite humorous.

No matter where he goes, a small dedicated group of our fanbase has to follow him around and clean up his mess and try to shore things up with the locals, because he talks so much ASU you would think he was a fan.

We have some young players offensively who will be starts by the time they are Juniors and Seniors, but the issue is our defense, which is just awful.

Gus Malzahn has always had a dedicated following of Kool-Aide drinkers in Arkansas who believe he is the patron saint of college football, and they often get so overly excited about what we have that you would forget we've looked awful all 3 games this year.

We'll have Stockemer back for WKU hopefully...that might share up some of our offensive weaknesses. We'll need Jakes to have an interception contest to have a shot defensively.

Attend one or two Memphis games every year, family member has one of those suites.

From Memphis and grew up a Tiger fan, before attending ASU.

Have not attended an ASU game in at least 8 years and have no plans to attend another ASU football game.

Shoud already be in South Texas, just held up because of other commitments..

Did go to the spring game with a friend.

Not a fan of any team, like a lot of teams. Really like these SBC teams.

Good inside sources about ASU.

I never felt mistreated on the Den, just stopped posting there. In fact they treated me better than they treated most people..

Like to add the only reason I keep up with ASU athletics is that many of my friends from over the years love ASU football and most have ended up far from Jonesboro.

They have come to expect me to keep up on what is going on, so I do take a little time and trouble to stay up on the subject. I rather enjoy doing it.
