I saw a Lindy's at a Barnes & Nobles this weekend and they had Campbell picked first in the North Division. (Not a surprise, as I'll be very disappointed if we don't carry that division.) Charleston Southern was the top pick in the South.

They said a key for the Camels was the "development of Horton at center". After seeing that, I neatly replaced the magazine back on the rack.

Preseason mags are written at the conclusion of the previous year. They don't mean squat. Also, they don't take into account any late additions especially one's who can make impacts. Campbell had more than a few.

Athlon has Campbell third in the North behind High Point and VMI.

Like Lindy's, CSU is tabbed tops the South.

I think third is a better prediction with the unknowns right now. Maybe we can be first but if I had to guess I would not say that until I looked at how we do against good comepetition. I hope I am pleasantly surprised.

Just got my ticket order in. Looking forward to the season.
