RE: Beat the Reggae Boys!
its crazy that Jamaica has 5 MLS players playing whereas the US only has 1 on the pitch ... thing is, we've got players playing in other major leagues across the world.

Good result (3 points). I don't understand why the US defaults to long-ball and defensive tactics automatically upon gaining the lead. There are times to do it, but tonight they bossed the game so well that I was hoping they would continue to retain possession. Then again, they looked exhausted by the end.

RE: Beat the Reggae Boys!
That was more like it. Good pressure put on by the USA the whole game, and we were unlucky not to have 2 or 3 goals.

I'll never understand why Jamaica played so passively the whole game until the USA finally scored. They controlled the match in Kingston. Does sitting back in a shell for the whole game and playing for a draw ever work? You know if you let the other team have all the possession, then it's just a matter of time before they score. Seems that people forget that old axiom, the best defense is a good offense.
