...24-7 - it's early, but so far, so much for revenge.

UL just threw another TD. Its an officially a blow out. If you give Brohm any time, he will kill you. WVU vs. UL gonna be a good game but I expect this UL team to win. Their O is so good, how the hell did they lose to USF?

UofL now leads 31-7 with 6 minutes left in the half.

Brohm is 9-10 for 185 yards, 2 TD's, no INT's.

This game is far from over, and UNC has driven twice down a long field on our defense. One gave them a TD and 1 gave them a missed 44 yard FG.

The good news is that among Wisconsin, G Tech, NC State, and Utah, none of those teams scored more than 27 on UNC. We have 31 before halftime!

Baker is doing good for UNC so far, but they just lost the ball on downs. Can't really blame them for going for it.

Another one on fourth down - wow!

I wouldn't have gone for it, but UL looks like they are on a mission. I'm impressed Cards.

Now 38-7 in the last minute of the half. Brohm is 13-15 for 253 yards and 3 TD's. We seem to go back and forth between huge rushing numbers and huge passing numbers game to game. Certainly a passing game this half.

First time in a while that I can remember us scoring on every possession of a half.

wow. this game is not on tv in my neck of the woods, but I have been keeping up with it on yahoo. The Ville looks really good. They seem to have gotten their swagger back. UNC is just rolling over it seems. I thought this game would be within a couple of TD's since Unc was getting better. Its good to see the acc's #1 offense from last year getting pummeled by a BE team for once.

UNC just scored for the 2nd time so its 48-14 with the 3rd quarter almost over. We're just running mostly now to roll time off to put them out of their misery.

Ironically, out of the 8 times we've had the ball, they held us to FG's only the 2 times they gave it to us deep in their territory to start with due to turnovers.

Dumervil has 2 more sacks and an INT today.

As a side note, I don't really see the point of SFHusky going onto the UNC board to act like we always <a href='http://northcarolina.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=216&tid=59814010&sid=&style=2' target='_blank'>run up the score</a>. Against FAU we didn't score the last 13 minutes. Brohm didn't play the 4th quarter of that game or against Oregon St. Our backup QB did lead us down the field in the 4th for 1 TD against the Beavers. Right now our 3rd string RB is getting touches.
CollegeCard. I think that poster goes by the name SDhuskey, not SFHusky. I was thinking that was a classless thing for SFHusky to do, but It is not him, unless he also goes by that name.

Cool, apologies for the mistaken identity, that's my fault.

Dumervil just forced another fumble that another DE ran back for an INT. Decent game for him with 3 sacks, an INT, and a forced fumble. I'm smelling another BE Defensive Player of the Week Award!

defensive touchdown 55-14 cards, i always maintained after the usf loss that the cards are still a legitimate top 15 team and they're showing it today. the scary thing is they're just scratching the surface for their program, expect next year's recruiting class to be huge and be focused on defense, glad to see nate harris finally start, the lb's seemed awfully slow during the usf game.

62-14 and no way UNC can legitimately claim running it up.

UofL only had backups touching the ball this drive. We want to waste time so that 65 or 70 yard drive was entirely on the ground w/ the backup QB (Cantwell) handing off to 3rd string back (Stripling) except for one 3 yard pass. We took 6 minutes off the clock with the drive.

Also interesting, I am listening to the UNC audio broadcast via the web and they said the Tar Heels kept their entire 1st string defense in the whole drive.

Hey thats not me. I did not post anything about running up the score. UNC fans for the most part have been nice people unlike BC fans. UL is showing the nation it is still an elite team. I hope they will get some respect in the polls. Hopefully, this blow out win will shut up some of the BE critics.

Game next week at WVU is no way a given. Mountaineers can take anyone at home.

I would hate to have seen the score if the Heels stomped on your logo. I hope the Cards hang a 100 on the Holes. 04-cheers

I realized that and apologized above. Sorry again, totally my mistake! And I agree, beating UNC by 1 or by 50 doesn't matter one bit when it comes to trying to beat WVU in Morgantown.

Our LBs in the USF game were pretty much out to lunch. The funny thing is our LBs are mostly 4.5 40 guys. Hell we had the strongest and fastest LB in the NFL draft last year in Roberty McCune and he was our 2nd fastest LB in 2004.

Nate is playing well and also Brandon Johnson replacement Preston Smith. Petrino benched him after the USF game for poor play and he will have to fight to get his job back.
