I think SMU has set a record for points scored per yard gained. It's a point for every 4-5 yards gained.

SFA was ranked #21 in FCS. They have a decent team by FCS standards and run a hurry up spread offense that gives us fits. Their first QB was pretty effective until we knocked him out of the game. Lots of turnovers and lots of PT for backups can only help later in the season.

I can't recall a game in the last 40 years that had so many defensive TDs. There were probably a few in our post DP years, but I sure can't remember any.

The offense needs a serious overhaul. I think we really missed not having Darius Johnson out there. The OL allowed way too much pressure and gave Zach Line very little help. We need to really get this fixed before Saturday or A&M will make us look like SFA.

Considering all the players that did not play - Johnson, Hunt, Gottschalk etc, this was as good of a performance as you could imagine.

We, Pitt and others know all too well that FCS/transitional teams can still show a pulse. Unless you play an HBCU, "a win is a win is a win."

It was the most unimpressive shutout in the history of College Football and the most unimpressive 52 points scored in the History of College Football. Not sure if we could have beaten more than a couple of teams on our schedule playing like that. Seriously
