So that means Alonzo Harris, the Sun Belt's Freshman of the Year in 2011 and a 2012 preseason All-Sun Belt pick -has to start??
How sucky is that?

Don't worry, we're completely healthy. That starting RB that we just lost had started a grand total of 1 game (lamar), Alonzo Harris was the starter last season basically all season as I think he only didn't start 1 game. Although I'm disappointed in the loss of such an electrifying young player, considering that he was a surprise to us from the spring and fall camps, I don't consider it much of a loss. Now if we lose Harris then we're gonna start hurting at the RB position.
This is important because if the rain comes like its predicted, then this will be a slobberknocking duel between the 2009 Freshman of the year and the 2011 Freshman of the year.

RE: Troy vs UL
Having wandered over to the rage page once or twice, I can tell you the majority are severely underestimating the conditioning of our team and feel like this year's team has the same piss-poor attitude as last years team. That is not the case at all. This year's team has a much better attitude, way better conditioning, much more talent and depth, and much more experience on offense. We could lose, but it won't be because of any of that.

I, and I don't think I'm in the minority, do not underestimate the Trojans. I expect this to be a slugfest. It will be made even more difficult for us being on the road. Our offense needs to step up it's game from week 1. If we can do that we have a shot. As last year proved, this is not a Ricky Bustle coached team which would usually fade in the second half. And we know the type of hard-nosed team we can expect in Troy. It should be a good one.

Like many fan pages, some RP fans don't keep up with the rest of the Sun Belt very much. I picked Troy as a possible loss earlier, so I've given the Trojans respect.

Nahh, dont take any of that serious. We know the tradition and the history of Troy. Our team would be fools not to believe they cant win this game, as was previously mentioned Bustle is USM's problem now, not ours.. But to a man they know this will be one hard fought football game. May the best team win and heres to NO injuries!
Ya'll have fun, sorry I can't make it!!

You know me, and you know you won't find me underestimating the Trojans. I've been saying, and I'll keep saying, the run game will be the key on both sides. If the Cajuns can slow down/stop southward we will have a much higher chance of winning the game, and I think that will go hand in hand with the turnover battle. I think Robinson is a great QB when the run game is rollin, but if the run game gets shut down, the Cajuns front 7 will pin their ears back and put some big pressure on him that will force Robinson into some bad throws which will help us in the Turnover margin. I do think we have a slight edge in personnel but yall have home field advantage on your side. All of that considered I don't think this game will be more than a TD either way and could very likely be a field goal or less (which I predicted) of final difference.

Good thing it's the fan base making those remarks and not the players . The players know better. Hud will have them ready, as will Blakeney. Here's to a good and safe game!
